Cor Fafiani creates mysterious, multi-sensory, perfect and almost metaphysical works of art. He plays with different materials and colours, and yet his art is never purely aesthetic, but a code through which he can communicate his own ideas. He is in fact both an artist and a philosopher, and he guesses at the innermost depths of the human being, he reaches out to our ontological core.

Nevertheless, the most disturbing thing for the viewer of his works is the absolute lack of answers or reference points, and the only thing that remains is doubt, the unsolved problem of existence. That gap can only be filled by art, and that is the only certainty that Cor Fafiani expresses in his work.
